About the Speaker
Franziska Steiner is a trained economist, philosopher and future lover. Born in a small, rural Swiss village, Franziska has always been driven by an insatiable curiosity & hunger for exploring the new. This has led her to work in different roles enabling the future of a variety of industries including energy, healthcare and finance. As of 2017, Franziska joined swissnex, the Swiss Innovation outpost in San Francisco where she was running operations for a global clean tech accelerator program, doing tech and trend scouting for different Swiss corporates and enabling the exchange between the Swiss and American innovation ecosystem. As head of Entrepreneurship, Franziska was building and running programs for startups, designers & futurepreneurs.
After returning from the US, Franziska joined VNTR (Innovation & Venturing by PostFinance) as a Senior Opportunity Architect where she is in charge of open innovation. Currently she’s building up the network for VNTR in the Nordics and Baltics to leverage that regions‘ innovation power. Besides her day job, Franziska also serves as co-president of the board of
Swiss Healthcare Startups and as a jury member for the jury for work design grants.
