About the Speaker
Michael Mey is the Managing Consultant at Obvious Works, where he helps international companies optimize team collaboration and efficiency through Agile Methodologies, with a strong focus on Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering. He holds a diploma in Computer Science from Furtwangen University, Germany, where he first explored AI and neural networks. Michael’s extensive experience spans both large international corporations and startups. He has held key management roles at UBS, EY, and STOXX, where he led international teams and managed complex projects in the financial industry. At EY, he also gained expertise in Fraud Investigation, further broadening his skillset in risk management and compliance. Now, as one of the creators of the AIxRE Masterclass, Michael is dedicated to bridging the gap between Agile practices, Requirements Engineering, and AI. He regularly speaks at industry conferences such as REConf, REFSQ, and Scrum Day, sharing his insights on how AI can transform Requirements Engineering. Before founding Obvious Works, he successfully launched a crypto startup, demonstrating his adaptability across both corporate and startup environments.
